One of CMS’s most distinctive collaborations to date. Sarah’s artistic vision was instrumental in harmonizing the aircraft’s interior; her aesthetic precision ensured CMS components blended seamlessly into the design language. Every touch panel featured custom graphics tailored to match the headliner, and each icon was hand-selected to complement the cabin’s palette and textures.
From custom logo integration to livery-matched visuals, the Explore moving map was designed to mirror the aircraft’s identity with striking fidelity.
Empire powers the entertainment backbone, delivering near-instantaneous* source switching across the cabin.
*“Instantaneous” is the closest we could get to describing the 20-millisecond latency when switching A/V sources. Blink and you’ll miss it.

Empire 24 Port Switch

The backbone of the Empire IFE system is the 10G Ethernet Switch. This switch acts as the central hub, connecting all Encoders and Decoders. It enables distribution of all IFE content throughout the cabin. The switch receives control commands from the Evolve Cabin Management System through a 100BaseT Ethernet connection. These commands are used to switch or change Audio/Video sources and are applied over the Cat 6 Ethernet network.

Touch Control Panels

Available sizes: 3.5”, 3.8”, 4.3”, 5”, and 7” Each panel is fully customizable. Requiring only power, ground and chassis ground, every panel includes an integrated 915MHz radio, allowing wireless integration with the rest of the cabin.

Explore Moving Map

The CMS Explore Moving Map brings real‑time flight awareness and immersive passenger engagement to the cabin. Powered by aircraft navigation and air data inputs, it delivers dynamic maps, flight information, and customizable content across multiple displays. Key Highlights: • Flexible Video Outputs: Up to four independent feeds, including NTSC (480p), 3G‑SDI (1080p), and HDMI (4K UHD). • Seamless Data Integration: Reads from ARINC 429 data buses with intelligent priority handling of FMS, ADC, IRS, and GPS inputs. • Cabin Connectivity: RS‑485, RS‑232, Ethernet, USB, and CMS’s patented RF wireless for control, maintenance, and data loading. • Passenger Experience: Real‑time maps, multilingual flight data, custom graphics, safety briefings, and interactive world maps. • Audio & I/O: Dual independent audio streams with stereo, mono, and S/PDIF surround outputs, plus 14 configurable inputs and 4 outputs for cockpit and cabin integration.
